Join us Saturday April 25th 12-6 pm for our annual Wine Club Member's Blessing of the Vines.
Three new wines are ready for tasting and pick up: Newly delicious Campenoise mèthode Pink Shoals and Rocky Shoals, and our 2014 Cab Franc. Paired with Spring fare cheeses, sliced meats, fruit and breads, these wines are made for the Springtime when floral noses and fruity overtones are already in the air. ALSO we will have quiche galore from Brandon Perkins's Swell Honey Free Range hens --- and a bit of salad from his garden greens as well.
Stroll with wine glass in hand through the vineyard or the gardens, and join us at the winery to sample two of the young, fresh Spring wines.
The actual Blessing of the Vines ceremony will be in the afternoon with Wine Club Member Father John Ball doing the honors again with his lovely Ethiopian priestly parasol. Bagpipes again, for sure. Help us ring in the new vineyard season with a special prayer and ceremony for a good growing season and harvest ahead.
