In this third year of vintage releases at Slack Winery, we begin our "Beaujolais tradition" with 3 more weekends of previews, samplings and tastings leading directly to one of our favorite annual events, Blessing of the Vines, when you can come to the vineyards at Jubilee, help us bless the vines and take home a selection of new wines.
For our lead in to Blessings, Winemaker Tucker Grube-O’Brien prepared 4 new “Beaujolais primeurs”. Before we send these wines back for final tuning and bottling, we’re asking for your opinion. Give us your feedback and we'll listen!
For our third new release weekend, April 11-13, we will have our first samplings of In the Flowers, our new sparkling white from a blendof grapes notable for their floral bouquet. This is our 4th sparkling wine and each is different --- this is the lightest of all with nice acid balance and the nose is definitely sympathetic with Spring time.
