Join us this Sunday for music by Chopticon born and raised Joe Norris, who sings wondereful original songs as well as covers. J<span style="font-size: 12px;">oe is one of a pair of musically gifted identical twins born and raised in St. Mary’s County. Their ancestral lineage dates back to the early 17th century in the Tidewater region. They began composing songs and performing in public during their high school years and have since advanced to many stages.</span>
Carolyn Egeli is also presenting 5 new paintings including 3 just completed works, the sale of which will benefit the Chesapeake Orchestra. These paintings are in the Manor House c. 1798 at Woodlawn and the artist herself will be with us at 1 pm for a discussion of her paintings, including the source of inspiration for her 3 newest works.
The Wine Cottage at Woodlawn is open from 12-6 pm Wed - Sun. Tastings of Slack Wines are great fun and cheese & fruit plates are also available.. Bring a picnic or stop by at St. Inigoes General Store on the way down and pick up one of the best sandwiches (go for the Reuben) you'll ever taste in your life --- with great Orzo, too.
