Join us Saturday and Sunday, April 26th & 27th 12-6 pm each day for our annual Wine Club Member's Blessing of the Vines mixed-and-matched this year with our Wine and Garden Weekend.
Four new wines are ready for tasting and pick up: Ebb Tide Blanc, Slack Tide Blanc, In the Flowers and Black Drum Red. Paired with Spring fare cheeses, sliced meats, fruit and breads, these wines are made for the Springtime when floral noses and fruity overtones are already in the air.
Stroll with wine glass in hand through the vineyard or the gardens, and if you want any splittings of plants (think thousands of daffodils and daylillies planted since 1948 by Admiral Felix Johnson), then grab a lot of them or stick you flags in the plants that haven't yet been split and pick them up later.
The actual Blessing of the Vines ceremony will be on Saturday at 4 pm with Wine Club Member Father John Ball doing the honors again with his lovely Ethiopian priestly parasol. Stroll with us anytime, though, through the newly opened buds in the vineyard with your flute or glass in hand and help us ring in the new vineyard season with a special prayer for a good harvest season.

Order wines in advance and we'll have them ready for you to pick up; or come sample and choose. You are welcome to bring 2-4 friends or family members as our guests.
